We engaged in some risky play ourselves during our tree walk, and got to see how such natural surroundings can lend themselves so easily in the middle of an urban environment.
It was interesting to see a different kind of non-traditional classroom. We also liked the emergent curriculum that relied on student inquiry and interests. The freedom that students had because they were not boxed into a particular niche was also eye-opening.
